5 minutes. That's how long it takes an admissions officer to decide if you are in or out.
The admissions landscape is more competitive than ever. To get ahead, you need the perspective of someone who has read, evaluated, and recommended real students for admission, not just an editor. That is where I come in. I have gone through hundreds of applications from the admissions side of the desk, and I know what earns an offer of admission in the few minutes your application gets.
Let’s make every second count.
ABOUT SEAN
The perspective of someone who has sat on both sides of the table
My name is Sean. I am a Cambridge graduate and a former admissions reader at the University of California, Irvine, where I evaluated hundreds of applications for admission. I also have applied for and received national scholarships and fellowships, which taught me how to strategically position myself as a competitive candidate. I am passionate about helping each student find their unique voice, and I know what separates a memorable essay from a forgettable one.

Common questions
Do you offer calls or in-person sessions?
Tier 1 is entirely asynchronous, but it includes detailed written feedback plus a personalized video. Tiers 2 and 3 include a strategy call.
How do I receive the Google Doc link for my drafts?
After you complete payment, Sean will send a shared Google Doc link manually via email. This is where you will fill in a detailed intake form, paste your drafts, and receive all feedback.
Is it worth paying for college essay help?
For selective schools, essays are often the deciding factor between similar applicants. Most editing services check grammar and flow. A former admissions reader can tell you how your essay will actually land with the person deciding your file, which is a different service entirely.
Do you help with Common App and supplemental essays?
Yes. The review covers your Common App personal statement plus every supplemental essay for your chosen school, including Virginia schools like UVA, Virginia Tech, and William & Mary as well as out-of-state and Ivy League applications.
